Boris, like most auto flash do, you have to choose a flash range (e.g. 4-7m) 
among those made available on the flash unit (and also manually set the 
camera ISO on the flash unit), then you can read which aperture to set on 
the lens. If you don't do that, it's at your own risk :-)
