It's a shame to see lenses like this going away. Sigma seems to be the only
3rd party lens manufacturer serious about making prime lenses at all these
days (I love my 300/2.8). Anyone heard if their recent 100-300/4.0 is any
good? It's one of their EX series so I expect it's pricey but it looks like
a useful zoom range and reasonably fast aperture.
