With all those different symptoms it sounds like it could be a bad MB/Chipset driver. Check with Asus for an update.
If you have the latest drivers then there is not much you can do without replacing components. I would start with the video board. I would try a mid-priced ATI or Nvidia gamer. If that does not help the problem I would go after the sound card next. Two things are not playing nice with each other. That is always the problem with windows.
