Peter, good to hear from you. My friend Roger whose boat we were on in the pics from the Blenheim/Picton now lives on the outskirts of Sydney. He lives far enough out that he has an observatory building for his telescopes.
I hope you and your wife have a great time in NZ. I never visited N Island, but S Island has got to be some of the most incredible scenery I have ever seen.
