..and could help prevent occasional "weirdness"! I had an issue this past weekend where the lens would pop into focus, but the camera would never get the confirmation and would refuse to fire. I took off the 16-50 and wiped just the power contacts (what was I thinking??) with no change in behavior. Finally my addled brain remembered that there are numerous contacts on the lens beyond the simple power contacts. Scrubbed 'em down with a corner of the t-shirt (on the camera and on the lens) and all was well again. But it was a heart-stopping moment when I wondered if my 16-50 had just started to be faulty! -Charles -- Charles Robinson - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org I am riding in the MS-TRAM this summer.
