And there's nothing unsafe about the Starfighter, it was a superb
high-altitude interceptor and was quite safe in that role.
As long as the engine's running. Engine out performance leaves
something to be desired. It's got a lower glide ratio than a brick.
Actually more like a dart, it gets you there faster than a brick, more
aerodynamic, higher terminal velocity, but roughly the same result...
