That's sad. I watched episode after episode of "The Prisoner" and some
reruns, but I must declare I was frequently unable to understand just
what was going on. Other than the simple "He wanted out of there."

James Bond meets the Twilight Zone.
The underlying premise is a "secret agent" decides to quit his job, and
he's kidnapped and taken to the village to brainwash him into telling why.
That premise provides a framework from which to hang various SciFi &
adventure stories.
