On 8/3/09, mike wilson, discombobulated, unleashed: >WRT Jostein's "Nylons" picture, many of the nests seen are constructed >out of plastic netting and line. It's a savage criticism of mankind's >abuse of the natural world, combined with a rosy look at how nature >copes with our intrusion. Or something. Not that I'm putting words >into Josteins art, you understand.
I did notice some of the detritus but thought it was too subtle to be what Jostein meant - Norwegians tend to do things on grand scales (q.v. fiddly bits ;) thanks for that. > >BTW. I have seen some of the pictures before, posted to the list. All >appear _much_ better on the printed page. Particularly Bill Robb's >sunken bicycle. I have to agree - much better. Computer screens are good but the printed page still holds the edge in photography. -- Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
