1.2.5 GB or 1.5GB depending on model for the iBook G4. The sub-1GHz
versions only officially support 640MB.

You'd need a 1GB SO-DIMM to max the RAM.

 I've done a few HDD swaps on iBook G4's. Hellish is a good
description. Quite possibly some of the worst hardware to work on
Apple ever put out.  320GB is the largest available drive and will run
around $130CDN in Toronto (bought one a couple weeks ago for my HP
laptop) but 250's are the easiest to find. You need a PATA or IDE
drive not the newer SATA drives (which sucks as 500GB SATA laptops
drives are the same price as 320GB PATA drives).
