Technically, it's an Indian Reservation, not a town.

Admitting without prejudice the technicality, from the map's point of
view, it was a very town-like dot.

That would represent the band office and whatever buildings surround it, I expect. I don't know how large that reservation is, though I think it would be a fairly small one.

An old friend of mine was a cartographer in Australia before coming to Canada. Apparently, he stuck a place called Dick's Bolt (his name is Richard Bolt) or some such onto a crossroads out in the middle of nowhere for shits and giggles.
I think someone higher up caught it before the maps got printed though.
