it gets a lot harder as you get older, believe me.

When I became a gym-obsessive in my late 30s I very quickly got myself down
to 75kg (I'm 1.8m tall). I'd been below 70kg in my 20s, but that was due to
smoking, not exercise, and a doctor then told me I was malnourished! Now I'm
in my 50s I'm finding it hard to get below 85kg, but then again, I'm not
obsessive about it anymore.

A couple of years ago I got myself up to running 1 hour at a time, but after
a few weeks I thought my ankles and knees wouldn't be able to take any more,
so I've dropped back to 30 minutes now, and will gradually build it up
again, sensibly, I hope.
