So i finally made it to a Future shop and picked up an external HD to use as my LR back up drive.
I managed to get my catalogue backed up, at least i think i have them all, it did not ask that question. Now, very soon i will have to remove my photos from my ibook hard drive, i'm down to 7.5 gig. What happens now, if i want to go back to a set of photos from the catalogue and the files from the HD are gone. Does LR know or ask were the file(s) have gone to.?? I have saved the ones i want to be printed in a seperate folder, but i will be wanting to look at these again, when the fair gets nearer, for possible photos to use.
