I've been asked to scan a whole bunch of old photos for my boss, using her scanner here at work. The glass is pretty heavily smudged and needs to be cleaned. Is it safe to use 70% isopropyl alcohol on it? How about Windex? I don't have a lot of other options here at work, but if you have other suggestions I'd love to hear them.
