right outside our front door we have a bird feeder. we keep it full and it the birds know it. there is a male and female cardinal that has been here for a couple of winters and i spent some of the afternoon trying to get the optimum shot of them. i am still trying.

Good working distance, little impact on image flatness, and still a lot of versatility. In this instance, it was behind my 80-200 zoom, and that arrangement works wonderfully.
