Which camera are you using?  I've had fairly good luck photographing
hummingbirds using trap focus when I had a PZ-1p. A 200mm manual focus lens
with the camera set on AF usually works pretty good. Haven't gotten around
to getting the electronic cable release yet for the MZ-S.
