I find it invaluable, but have run into some issues. The biggest is that the histogram is based on the JPEG, not the raw data. It is what I use for checking my exposure and how I decided that the K100 needed +0.7 EV and the K20 didn't. -- The first step is learning to take great photos, the second step is learning to throw away ones that are merely good.
