And the mouse pointer will jump when you move it from one screen to the other. Not a biggie but some might find it annoying.

I would definitely recommend going the two-monitor route. You can have your image full-screen on the primary and put all your palettes, file windows etc on the other. My old G5 tower hits a weird and extremely aggravating graphics problem when I have both screens connected... but only for about 15 to 30 minutes after powering on. So I rarely use the second screen with it.

At work I often find myself wishing for three or four monitors :/
