It's not that, it's simply that we all have JCO filtered out. The difference between the F50/1.4 and the FA50/1.4 are some minor points of styling, an improved, rubberized focusing ring, and the FA50 embedded chip has the MTF curve information in it, the F50/1.4 does not.
