I find it a bit more soothing just to check the Pentax news the day
AFTER their scheduled announcements.
It's not just Pentax. This "We're going to make a big announcement on
such and such a date some months in the future" and building up to it
with a continual hype always leads to disappointment.
You're going to announce it on the 17th, fine, I'll look in on it on the
18th.
