It's become pretty much the standard 12v outlet in the US.

The "yacht/limo charger" is a real thing. With the M8 (and the M9 it seems)
you get a thing you can plug into a car lighter socket to recharge your
batteries. It's a useful thing - even in remote places with no fixed power
supply it's quite likely that there will be a car or Land Cruiser or
suchlike around. I don't know if yacht's have such things though.

OTOH, this guy has to be funning us. It's written so much like a parody.

On 19/9/09, Bob W, discombobulated, unleashed:

Everybody's favourite camera reviewer has written an
extremely amusing
review of the Leica M9:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/leica/m9.htm
"Included with the LEICA M9 10 704 and 10 705

LEICA M9 body and body cap 14 195.

Battery 14 464.

Compact charger 14 470 with power cables for the USA and Europe.

Yacht/Limousine charger with power cable..."

Oh for God's sake

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or
drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn
fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a
free man any more than a dog.
