They're a fun ride if you ever get the chance. Just don't forget your
hearing protection.
Nap of the Earth (NOE) flight in a UH-1 or UH-60 is exhilarating,
especially with the doors locked back. Used to be allowed to ride the
UH-1 sitting on the deck with your feet hanging out the door.
Beats any roller-coaster ride anywhere in the world, hands down.
The second helicopter is a heavy lift cargo desgn. It was meant to lift
a standard shipping container. Straddles it, hooks on & lifts. The water
container/dispenser with the snorkel is a package system suspended
beneath the fuselage on this one.
