Glad it's still under warranty! 1% failure rate is extraordinarily
high for any lens, but I expect in the end the failure rate for these
problem lenses will be much higher, nightmare stuff.
Fortunately, I cave some fairly good consumer laws on my side.
If it is a repetitive failure, I can, at some point, force them to just
refund my money, even if the thing is off warranty.
