Of course. You can even find august governmental bodies recommending that you not use Windows for online banking or any other financial transaction. Check out <http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/02/20/adobe_reader_exploit/> for an exploit not known to not work on Macs. Generally, anything that uses security-by-obscurity isn't.
