From my K20 perspective, I pretty much agree with everything Bruce wrote.

In camera HDR - acts just like bracket shooting. Turn it on, set it
to normal or strong and press the shutter - 3 shots and taken and
then the camera blends them for you. You should be using a tripod,
but it is pretty cool. I do want to go back to the redwoods and try
some shots.

I haven't tried the in camera HDR yet. But I do use the bracketing for when I get around to doing photoshop HDR. One minor gripe I have is that it doesn't have the one shutter press for the bracketed series.

Bruce, where are you? If you want to shoot in the redwoods, come on over any time. We'll almost certainly spend some time shooting in the redwoods on the 27th too.

Conclusion
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Having shot a fair bit with the K-x, I find it to be a great camera,
especially at the price - If I had to choose between the K10 and K-x,
I would easily choose the K-x. I'm sure there are more differences
between the two, but each of us notices certain things pertaining to
our usage and style. If I didn't bring it up, it probably is about
a wash between the bodies. My two oldest daughters prefer the K-x
over the K10 and K20 - it fits their style of shooting better -
especially the low light.

In large part because I'm learning the new camera, I haven't shot with my K20 since getting the K-x. If I had to choose one, I'd probably choose the K-x for the better high ISO performance. For manual shooting in a dynamic light situation, I may go for the K20. What I find works well in manual mode for the K-x is to set the green button to aperture priority. I set the aperture using +/- and the wheel, set the exposure using the green button and tweak the exposure using the wheel.

Once things settle down, I'll probably go back to the K20 as my primary camera in my camera bag and the K-x as my fannypack camera.
And BTW, I like the white body color.

I get a *lot* of comments from passers by on the white camera. A waitress at a restaurant the other night, as I was leaving, told me how much she liked my camera.
