That's an interesting point. One wonders whether or not most press snappers are simply using the '2 body 2 zoom' setup almost because it's de riguer. By that I mean that - heaven forbid - it's the fashion! Not so long ago, I'd see all snappers with a gadget bag, namely a Billingham. Then I started to see them disappearing in favour of rucksacks - more mobility. Once you've got your bodies and lenses that you want, the rest can go on your back, freeing up arms and legs. This is ideal for papping celebs, or outside court. But now, the bags seem to have gone altogether! Two bodies with 2 zooms, one or both with flash and NiCad(s) in jacket pocket(s). So if I saw someone with a 35 1.4, I'd take a closer look - this guy isn't following the fashion! He's probably *setting* the trends, not following them. I wonder how many of the trend-followers could shoot something decent with just one body and one prime? I'll bet your friend could. That's the acid test, eh! Good light to you too, Cotty _______________________________________________________ Personal email traffic to [EMAIL PROTECTED] MacAds traffic to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Check out the UK Macintosh ads http://www.macads.co.uk - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
