I read a review on the da15 and they said it outperformed the earlier da14 lens, which wouldnt surprise me, its not as wide and slower than the da14.

Quite a good lens, but inferior in performance to both the DA 14/2.8 and DA 12-24/4. Smaller than a FA 50/1.4 though.
