All the reviews I've read indicate a slight decrease in performance for the 15/4 over the 14/2.8 at the edge, which is consistent with the design differences. While the 15 is slower, it's also a far less complex (8/6) design than the 14 is (12/11) so it will remain less well corrected. The differences in focal length is very minor and won't have a serious impact on the design complexity.
