White and black are the only - well... - colors you don't get charged
extra for. Hence, almost all janitor services around here drive white
subcompact panel vans. And the Ferrari crowd seemingly thought it was
cool to turn their cars into screaming Apple stickers.

My livingroom window looks out onto two very in places so I get to see
all the nouveau riche car trends - the en vogue color for non-Cayenne,
non-Panamera Porsches this year and last definitely is UPS brown
metallic with a beige leather interior, Ferraris still come in white
mostly as do Cayennes, i.e. the tasteless bunch. IMHO Ferraris should
be red with yellow allowed and black tolerated. One exception to the
rule and looking cool: there's a pimp in town who drives a matte olive
355 spider with matte orange 5-spokes. But white? Oh please... Luckily
there is only one white Lambo around, Gallardo convertible, owner
looks the part, too.

People who want to set themselves apart pull up in ex-ISAF
G-class/'Wolf' Mercedes, vintage BJ/FJ LandCruisers and the like with
Humvees out as can be. Fortunately, you can see a decline in new white
car purchases now, the fad seems to be ebbing off.

Can you tell I'm a hater? LOL

Cheers
Ecke
