The develop module of LR3 and ACR 6.1 are the same.  The new features
are in both, so if you upgrade to CS5 you'll get the same features.

Also - Don't overlook a NAPP membership.  It's about $100/year.  In
addition to the magazine subscription there are a lot of discounts
that come with that.  Right now, you get 15% Adobe products, free
shipping on orders from B&H and Adorama, and many others.  Well worth
the price if you're going to take advantage of the benefits.  NAPP is
