not here, you can be laid off during illness if your prognoses is bad
or if your position technically ceases to exist. that is the route
they chose. the team I was in was made up of three people, one quit,
one is ill and one was hired for a different team in the first place
and will relocate back to there. so they can let me go for
organizational reasons. it is legal.

does here. it is voluntary. employers have lots of rights here.
industry runs this country.

I think my chances are good. last two times it took me about 20
applications and 4-5 interviews each. economy is just picking up now.
Who knows, I might even freelance for a while =)
