Yeah, really. It was a /big/ deal when the US Congress debated it, then
passed it, in 1999. It seems, however, to have passed from the minds of
the so-called experts. I guess ten years is too long to expect experts
to remember significant shifts in the legal underpinnings of the
financial sector.
