What I especially like is that while it has a fully automatic mode that
learns from the images you give it and does an excellent job, you can
also tweak a lot of controls to get finer control. For example, I always
reduce the effect of NR on highlights since I see little noise in
well-exposed areas of K20D images. Doing that leaves highlighted areas
sharper.

But I'm hearing that the latest versions of ACR do a simply astounding
job of NR, so you might want to just upgrade PS to CS5 or get Lightroom 3.
