ISDN never took off here, at all. There's no ploy to sell more, because I
don't think the telcos even want to admit ISDN exists at all, anymore.

There's all sorts of strange laws, for instance, despite the fact that DSL
is quite capable of extending out to 70K feet from the switch, current
laws and nonsense forbid it beyond lenths of 30K feet from the switch.

Who knows. :)
