that's correct - they're not pictures of the baby as an individual (if that's what babies are), they're fun shots around the baby. Quite funny and original in my opinion, and no better or worse than the traditional shot of the naked baby on a rug, and considerably better than the ones that were widespread a few years ago where the woman dressed the babies in ridiculous clothes and spawned an industry.
