You have two options. One is to make yourself invisible, the other is to make yourself unmissable. The worst thing to do in my opinion is to creep around furtively trying to 'sneak' pictures, although sometimes it seems to be the only way. In any case, confidence is everything. That plus a winning smile. People are generally ok with it. Even then, sometimes people can get a bit annoyed with you, and you just have to learn to deal with it.
