I changed my recipe with TMAX 400 ( 35mm ) today. Instead of 6.5 minutes at 75 deg. only developed it for 5.5 minutes ( film rated iso250).
Got less grain and contrast which I was looking for but the sharpness is still excellent. full frame http://www.gate.net/~hifisapi/tmyducks1.jpg blowup http://www.gate.net/~hifisapi/tmyducks2.jpg Then I had some fun in paint shop. I took an extreme crop of a hedge and COLORIZED to make it appear to be shot on color film. I like the softness and grain the severe crop created. I didnt think it would work this good: http://www.gate.net/~hifisapi/leaves.jpg Almost looks like real color huh? JCO - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
