The adapters work well with old lenses since you lose the AF anyway. Av metering and my M, K and M42 lenses work on the EPL1 pretty much like they did on the original film bodies. I have the clip-on EVF which works well for MF. MF on the LCD is (largely) an exercise in futility. It is fun to use that old Super Tak 50 I've had since '74.
