Well, Godfrey has made us aware of Ricoh's innovative approach to mirrorless systems and Pentax has optical expertise. And, at least from my POV, Pentax has a bigger reputation. How big is Ricoh as a company? It will definitely focus Pentax on photography as long as the combination has enough business to keep going.
I fully expect Godfrey to tape a little Pentax on that modular camera of his.
