I'm somewhat hopeful about this. The traditional digital market (How's that, huh) of P&S and DSLRs is being eroded in two ways: cellphones will increasingly replace the P&S and mirrorless will cut into the DSLRs. Ricoh and Pentax could make a pretty good mirrorless body with Pentax optics.
