Thanks Charles, I stand humbly corrected. I assumed all Pentax DSLRs had standardized on the metal twist lever to open the card/battery doors. Hope they reintroduce these. Stick on tape suggested here is the best idea to secure the door - the goo can be removed easily with 101 stuff including WD-40 sprayed on a cloth.
