Here are a couple of pics of my most-used bikes, both with stories attached. First my road bike is the second photo on this page: http://www.multi.net.nz/taiaroa/ The aftermath of that ride was good fun... I didn't drink enough fluid so ended up a bit dehydrated. I remember walking around the carpark of the hotel slowly sipping from a water bottle while trying not to throw up. Two days later I went on an even longer ride :D Having learned my lesson I managed my fluid intake a lot better and was fine afterwards. The second photo is my commuting bike, a Kona Paddy Wagon which I'm running with a fixed hub. http://www.multi.net.nz/paddy-wagon/ I took this photo after I was able to retrieve the bike from the under-stairs cupboard at work when the CBD re-opened after last September's quake. I'd bought the road bike (pictured above) on September 3rd so I rode that home, and the plan was to return on the 4th (a Saturday) to pick the commuter bike up. Unfortunately a spanner was thrown in the works at about 4:30am. I was able to pick it up about a week later, on the 10th.
