what i ride most is an old Miyata touring frame reworked with no front derailleur (so it's a 6-speed); it's littered with top-end components but it's pretty well camouflaged as a junker; it fits me really well, has a Brooks sprung saddle; the ancient Ritchey After-Bite cyclocross tires on it need to be replaced, and i'm thinking Schwalbes to defy tribulus terrestris
i also have a beautiful high-end Ritchey P-20 mountain bike with 2x9 gearing, currently in dry dock as i have fit an h-bar and have been lazy about the cable rework that job implied; it's a wonderful bike but i'd ride it more if it had a more minimal front fork and were better camouflaged
