It's not about NTSC (29.97 fps) vs PAL (25 fps) as most televisions are digital now and can probably handle either one. The 24 fps frame rate of traditional film has a distinctly different "look" to it. I've noticed a lot of complaining amongst amateur filmmakers about DSLRs that don't shoot 24 fps. (I think the camera makers just assumed originally that 24 saw slower and therefore "worse" and didn't think anyone would miss it.) -- Mark Roberts - Photography & Multimedia www.robertstech.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
