Well it is my personal favorites of his - and I have seen it up close and personal at MOMA - I think in the 60's. Maybe influenced by my having spent important quality time in New Mexico and not far from
Hernandez - which, by the way is not such a pleasant place these days.

It's too often reproduced poorly, I think.

I'm sure most of us know it was a grab shot, in effect.
