Her health started declining about a year ago. Recently she had a great deal of trouble walking (we carried her pretty much everywhere - she still meowed to be carried to the litter box!) A couple of days ago a congenital receding chin became so pronounced that she could only eat by spoonfeeding. We knew it was time. She was put out of her misery this afternoon.
