As I understand it, I guess that some people have a problem with posting a plain URL in the email:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/8339725404/ So, people have taken to enclosing them in angle brackets: <http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/8339725404/> which show up in the browser on my phone as http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/8339725404/%3e with the appended %3e causing file not found errors.
