You did, but the biggest DUH is for me... I thought I was using the
k-5, but had really grabbed the k-7! It was early this morning, we
were rushing out to my son's track meet, I picked up the camera on my
desk, and off we went, forgetting that the k-5 was set up on the
tripod across the room, and not noting the different color strap...
Imagine my aggravation/surprise/dismay when setting up for a few shots
at the indoor track, and not being able to dial in 16,000 iso, as
usual. I should have tried some panning shots. I should have taken
video with my iPhone, for that matter. Arg. He ran his best mile
time yet this year, too.

(I won't even mention how much time I spent poring through the manual,
clicking through the menus, googling the "problem" and mentally
drafting my next email to Pentax Service... 'cuz then you'd all know
what an idiot I am.)

So, thanks for asking, but "never mind" is the answer, I'm afraid.

And, just so this is not all for nothing... Emily Litella said it best. Enjoy:
