Set to wireless and placed on top of a bookcase firing at the ceiling it can cover a large room. I did a shoot in a recording studio with one of those on its 50-cent stand and it worked great. Flashes don't come with adapters because there are so many. The one you'll likely need soonest is the swivel umbrella mount.
