That sort of stuff usually happens because a person's equipment
isn't perfect.  We all know that we have to test all of the
films we shoot in order to determine what corrections our
cameras require.  We should know that the corrections necessary
for one camera may not be the corrections needed for other
cameras.  Some folks just seem to think that whatever works for
them should be the benchmark for everybody, and they are all too
happy to share that information.
It's not a bad thing to share the information, it's just that
the receiver should be aware that his mileage may vary.
