Hi Christine:  I've made a pledge not to buy another Calumet tripod.  I bought 
one, and 8 months later it broke.  I still use it for some things, but I hate 
taking it out in the field.  I think a basic Calumet tripod is fine for a 
studio, but not for out in the universe. :-)
